The Monster in my Mind
The man in gray stood in front of me.
I was wondering what he could see,
As his red eye pierced through my body
I felt I had nowhere else to go.
A long bloodstained scarf covered his face,
His pale hands were covered with bandage
Through his eyes I could see disgrace
And my heart started beating in a faster pace.
"Life has resented you,"
"Never will you be anew"
"You bear a curse of lifelong pain."
"Sorrow that will turn you vain."
His words turned in silver knives.
I trembled at their sight.
The man in gray grabbed on and licked it,
"Delicious, such pain inflicted"
